The City of Hudson, WI is hiring for a full-time Accountant to join our finance team.
The Accountant will perform a variety of accounting tasks for the City of Hudson and for other agencies for which the city acts as fiscal agents.
Starting wage for this position ranges from $33.95 – 37.65 per hour.
Requirements: A bachelor’s degree or a two-year associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with two years of accounting experience (Municipal preferred) in an accounting position with responsibilities that include general accounting, accounts payable, payroll and administrative support.
Strong knowledge in general accounting practices, computer techniques and software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
